Hi everyone! I’m a third year PhD student in African and African American Studies (with a primary in English). I was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Princeton for undergrad, majoring in African American Studies with a minor in Cognitive Science. After Princeton, I spent two years in San Francisco (big fan of the West Coast) and wrote my most recent book, Good Friends, there. Before Good Friends, I’ve published two books centered on racial literacy. If you’re interested in the arts, advocacy, public speaking, or non-profit work, I hope I can support you in some way. Even if you’re not, I’m excited to get to know you and be a resource for you. Also, please stop by to meet my sweet and mischievous kitty named Kai!
