Laura Bacon

Laura has had a wide-ranging career, from philanthropy and public policy to international development and university research. After graduating from Harvard (Leverett House!), she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger and then as a senior advisor to Liberia's Ministry of Gender and Development and Liberia's Women's Legislative Caucus. She was a research and programs fellow at Harvard's Center for Public Leadership and associate director of Princeton's Innovations for Successful Societies. After earning a masters in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School, Laura was appointed by President Obama as a White House Fellow. For the past decade, she has served in leadership roles in global philanthropic organizations, such as Omidyar Network, Luminate, and the Funders + Wellbeing Group.
