I am excited to start my fourth year as a Resident Tutor at Leverett House! I split my childhood between New York and North Carolina and have lived and worked all over the United States โ€“ Phoenix, Oakland, and Chicago, just to name a few places. After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I joined Teach for America as a bilingual 5th grade teacher in Denver, Colorado. Throughout my career, I have taken on various roles in education, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and public policy advisor. I now work as an education and workforce policy researcher at MassINC, a think tank that aims to expand economic opportunity and civic vitality in Massachusetts. This year, I will be finishing up my PhD at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I have studied how strengthening high school to community college pathways can improve educational and workforce outcomes for students.

In my free time, you can find me hanging out with my familyโ€“ my wife and fellow tutor, Claudia, and our son, Josiahโ€“ writing short stories and plays, enjoying the outdoors, or watching football or basketball (Go Heels!).
