Jacob Winter
Hey there! My name is Jacob Winter, and Iβm a first-year student at Harvard Law School. I grew up in Swartz Creek, Michigan, a small town near Flint. I graduated from Harvard College in 2024 (a proud Leverett Bunny) with a BA in economics and a secondary in government. I competed with the Harvard Undergraduate Mock Trial Association, serving as a team captain and president. In my junior year, I began working as a remote research associate for the Cato Institute, a position I held until law school began. I was also a section leader for Ec10 in my junior and senior years. After graduating, I served as a Teach For America corps member, teaching high school government and economics in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. I also supported students as the 12th-grade level leader and as an advisor to my schoolβs Harvard Model Congress team. In law school, Iβm interested in how constitutional law can be used to protect and expand civil liberties. Please reach out to chat about anything!
