My career has been spent at the intersection of the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Harvard has served as my "half way house!" Chief of Staff to two big city mayors, Associate Dean of HKS at its founding, MA Commissioner of Revenue, EVP of a global bank, dean of both a business School and a school of government, and Director of Harvard's Center for Business and Government, where I am now a Research Fellow.
