Franchesca (Franckie) Ramirez

My name is Franckie and I’m a PhD candidate in Clinical Science at Harvard and a psychology intern at a local HMS-affiliated hospital. I was born in NYC and raised in Miami (FL) where I studied biology as an undergrad. I later moved back to New York to study the cognitive neuroscience of affect and decision making. My work now focuses on violence and suicide prevention, drawing on clinical psychology and public health. Around Lev, you’ll most likely find me at study breaks, wellness events, grad school office hours, or open houses at the Faculty Deans’ residence.  I also love biking, sci-fi, and spending time with all the Lev pets. I’m always happy to talk about grad school, mental health and public health, cats, food, or reality TV.
