Dr. Emily Harrison
Emily Harrison is an Instructor at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and a Lecturer at Wellesley College. With an interdisciplinary academic background and over 20 years of professional experience spanning science media, higher education, and and public health policy analysis, she is eager to mentor students and build community around issues of health, environment, equity, and the public good. She holds a PhD from Harvard University in the History of Science, an SM from the Harvard School of Public Health in Global Health and Population, and an AB from Harvard College in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology. She is a longtime Leverite, with great memories from time as an undergraduate, resident tutor, and now SCR member. She has two children and, in addition to her professional and family roles, serves as Conservation Commissioner on the municipal Conservation Commission of Holliston, MA.
