Arnav Lal
Hi Lev! My name is Arnav Lal, and I am so excited to meet all of you! I grew up in Greer, South Carolina, before heading to the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Biophysics and Philosophy and served as an RA in my college house. I became fascinated by evolutionary biology and have focused much of my work on understanding the chaos of microbial evolution. After completing my preclinical years at HMS, Iām now starting my first year as a PhD student in the Biomedical Informatics and Genomics program! Outside of lab, I love playing all sports, especially soccer, taekwondo, and ultimate frisbee (so stoked for IMs!). I also love cooking, caring for plants, and photography! Iām so excited to share time in Lev with you all!
