Leverett House offers a variety of spaces for residents to host meetings, study sessions, or events. From intimate gatherings in the Private Dining Room to larger activities in the Library Theater, there’s a space to suit your needs.

**Available Spaces to Reserve:**

- Light Court Bren Conference Room
- Senior Common Room
- Private Dining Room
- G-Hutch
- Library Theater

**Reservation Process:**

- **Eligibility:** Only Leverett House residents may reserve spaces.
- **Booking System:** Use the university-wide EMS RoomBook system to make reservations: RoomBook.
- **Event Registration:** For gatherings of 13 or more people, complete the following:

###    Art Room  expand\_more  

- **Location:** Next to the Music Practice Rooms in McKinlock Hall.
- **Description:** A creative space ideal for various artistic activities, managed by Art Tutors. Supplies include markers, crayons, colored pencils, glue, and construction paper. Periodic workshops and projects are available.

    - Check in with Mohamed Zaker, Building Manager, for swipe access
- **Note:** Exclusively for Leverett residents, not available for reservations

- **Location:** Off the Light Court.
- **Description:** A flexible conference space accommodating 12 people for conferences and meetings.
- **Reservation Details:** Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance for a maximum of 2 hours. Available hours are Sunday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM; Friday-Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 AM. Reservations can be made through RoomBook.

- **Description:** The vibrant center of Leverett House, ideal for relaxation, study, and community interaction.
- **Access:** Open 24/7 for general use, except during special events and routine cleaning from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM.
- **Events Hosted:** Formal House Dinners, Student-Faculty Dinners, Senior Dinner, Thesis Dinner, Community Nights (Thursdays), Evening Office Hours, Pset Nights, and new student-initiated events.

**Description:** A lively, recreational space equipped with:

- Large TV monitor

#### **A Spacious Event Venue**

Located on the first floor of G-Tower, the G-Hutch is ideal for private parties and events.

**Reservation Details:**

- **Booking Window:** Up to 14 days in advance
- **Duration:** Maximum of 3 hours
- **Capacity:** Up to 40 people, including the host
- **Availability:**
    - Sunday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM
    - Friday-Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 AM

**Event Registration:**

- Ensure the sound and projection system is safeguarded and clean the room by 8:00 AM the following day. Cleaning supplies are available from the Building Manager or Security.

- Alcohol must be consumed indoors

- **Location:** Basement of G-Tower, near the elevators.
- **Description:** A dedicated space for music practice, including a drum set, electric guitar, keyboard, and amplifiers.
- **Access:** Sign out the key with your Harvard ID at the Guards Office.

- **Location:** Basement of the Leverett Library Building.
- **Description:** Primarily reserved for the Harvard Jazz Combo in coordination with the Music Department and the Harvard Office for the Arts.

- **Location:** Room A108.
- **Description:** A welcoming space for residents to relax, play music, and socialize.
- **Access:** Open 24/7; serves as a communal living room and is not available for reservation to maintain its inclusive atmosphere.

- **Description:** A versatile venue accommodating rehearsals, performances, movie nights, and other events.

- **Description:** An award-winning architectural gem designed for quiet, individual study, featuring shelves of books and comfortable seating.
- **Access:** Exclusively for Leverett residents; not available for reservations.

 

 



###    McKinlock Common Rooms and Study Nooks  expand\_more  

- **Description:** Each floor in McKinlock features hallway common rooms equipped with TVs, couches, tables, and chairs, available 24/7 for relaxation or work. Study nooks located in several hallways are ideal for individual or small group study, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

- **Location:** Lower level of McKinlock Hall.
- **Description:** Soundproof rooms equipped for individual and ensemble practice. Two rooms feature acoustic pianos, and LL09 is especially suited for small ensembles.
- **Access:** Available on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations required.

- McKinlock Hall: Across from the Mill Street entrance elevator.
- Leverett Library: Lower floor.
- F-Tower: Basement.

 

 



###    Private Dining Room (PDR)  expand\_more

- **Location:** Connected to the Dining Hall.
- **Description:** An elegant space seating 10-12 people, ideal for intimate gatherings such as lunches and dinners with guests.
- **Reservation Details:** Available Monday-Friday: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM; Saturday-Sunday: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM. Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. 
    - To reserve this room, please submit your request through RoomBook and await approval. For any inquiries or additional assistance, email Evelyn at <Le-admin@fas.harvard.edu>.
    - Please note: The PDR features delicate furnishings, and the reserving student is responsible for its condition and cleanliness. Cleaning instructions are provided in the room.

- **Location:** Lower level of McKinlock Hall.
- **Description:** A large, comfortable area with tables, chairs, and a cozy sofa around a TV monitor, perfect for hanging out and attending events like weekly Steins.

    **Location:** Adjacent to the JCR.
- **Description:** Designed for quiet work, meetings, and activities for SCR members and Tutors.
- **Access:** For the 2025-2026 academic year, all seniors (those who have completed at least six semesters) have 24/7 access.
- **Reservation Details:** Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance for a maximum of 2 hours. Capacity is limited to 12 people, including the host.

**Location:** Basement (Rabbit Hole) of McKinlock Hall

**Description:** A fully equipped kitchen with essential tools and ingredients, including spices, flour, oil, an electric stovetop, oven, microwave, and refrigerator.
