**What is a fellowship?** A fellowship is a merit based award of financial support to an individual for personal and/or academic development. Some fellowships might support you in getting an advanced degree from a foreign university. Others might support your summer research project. And still others might fund a trip to a remote part of the world for self-discovery.

**What fellowships are available?** Some are well known like the Rhodes or Marshall Scholarships. But there are a large number and a wide range of fellowships available to Harvard students and the best place to learn about them is at the Undergraduate Research and Fellowships office (URAF) [website](https://uraf.harvard.edu/browse-fellowships).

**Who can help me get started?** The Fellowships Committee in Leverett is a team of Leverett resident and non-resident tutors who are here to help you discover and apply for these funding opportunities.

Email us at <leverett.fellowships@gmail.com> with any questions you might have.
